Cubs Extend a Winning Streak with 9-0 and 12-8 Victory Over the Dodgers and Nationals

Sorry for the delay on the Dodgers story!
The Cubs were eager to once again pound the Dodgers, and their prayers were answered in a 9-0 shutout Wednesday night. The first inning was a blur for both teams, not even lasting six minutes! However, the second inning the Cubs were relentless and kept that same attitude the rest of the game. Blake pitched a 6-inning shutout, with some great fielding plays by Jacob and many others in the field
Nationals
The Cubs were able to come out Tuesday with a 12-8 win over the Nationals despite a terrible officiated game. The Cubs were red hot the first inning by scoring four runs. However, the Nationals were able to drive the ball to the outfield many times and evened up the score. The second inning showed (I think) what an even game this was, coming out 5-5. It was a very close game until the Cubs were able to get the score to 12 and wouldn't give it up the rest of the game. Compliments for T.J. getting a win his first game, and Phil coming out with a save. Let's get the Reds Friday!
